Upcoming workshop

Rally Obedience

Rally Obedience isn’t just about signs, scores, or competition.

At its heart, Rally is about relationship, communication, and teamwork between you and your dog.

Saturday, March 21

10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Timmins

This one-day workshop is designed for handlers who want to

build a stronger bond with their dog while learning practical

Rally skills in a positive, supportive, and fun environment.

In Rally training, dogs learn how to:

• Work as a team with their handler

• Stay engaged and focused around distractions

• Think, respond, and recover calmly

• Enjoy learning through games and movement

But the benefits go far beyond the Rally course.

This kind of training helps develop:

• Trust and clear communication

• Confidence and emotional regulation

• Better attention and impulse control

• A deeper working relationship

And in everyday life, that translates to:

• Dogs who settle more easily

• Better focus in busy environments

• Improved responsiveness without pressure

• Stronger connection built through play and teamwork

Our approach is fully positive and game-based.

We focus on clarity, encouragement, and making learning enjoyable for both dog and handler — whether your goals are competition or simply a better everyday partner.

Instructors:

Joanne Groulx – Experienced CKC Rally Obedience handler and competitor

Johanne Rondeau – Certified Advanced Canine Training Professional and Behavior Specialist and CKC competitor

Cost:

- $150 for working spots

- $75 for audit spots

Lunch included.

(Working spots limited to ensure individual support)

This workshop is suitable for:

• Dogs new to Rally

• Teams looking to improve focus and engagement

• Handlers who want to strengthen their bond through training

If you’ve been curious about Rally — or if you want a fresh, relationship-centered way to train your dog — this workshop is for you.
